Biography of Timofei Kopylov

The bewitching, truly male manner of performance, sincerity and some deep charm of Timofei Kopylov conquered both the audience and mentors of the vocal TV show “Voice”. The finalist, however, complains that within the framework of the project, it was not possible to share his author's material with the television audience. Meanwhile, all -Russian fame - perhaps not as wide as Timofey now, as the frontman of the group “Record Orchestra”, received earlier - thanks to the song “Lada Sedan” with Timati.

And in his native Vladimir he was recognizable and before that-the lyrical and ironic compositions of his rock team have long won the hearts of many fans. However, Timofey complains that he is not invited to the Kirov region, but he has Vyatka roots: his father from the Kirovo-Chepetsk region, and in childhood he spent several summer in Kotelnich with his grandparents. We talked with the performer after the New Year holidays - he had just returned from Rome, where, according to him, he rested from the “load”.

Well, there were just a lot of new acquaintances, they began to recognize more somewhere in shopping centers, they recognize in the subway. But basically, as it was, it is. I do not live in Moscow, in Vladimir, there was already a certain level of recognition, and he became a little larger. Some colossal changes, for example, so that I get rich or I have some super-offers in terms of promoting my own art and group “Orchestra Record”, etc.

I did not count on them, they are not. There is a response in the Internet resources of the group, but there is no such thing that there is "take me away, take me away for a hundred seas." People who watch the show "Voice" are mainly adults, balanced people. An interest in the work of the group has an additional number of people. And I, in principle, went there for this. This was the main task of participating in the show "Voice", which was performed, let's say, percent of why at 50?

Because there was a desire to fulfill the author’s material. We did not succeed. It was in the 6th season that this was not very welcomed, but nevertheless, every song that I performed on the show is a full-fledged cover version from the group “The Orchestra Record” group. I will not say that there were some kind of pan-line conversations “for life”. There were talk about which song will be as follows.

The artist offers 10 songs and, most likely, these 10 songs are marked, and the work goes over what the mentor proposed. As a result, I received a huge buzz from the process of working on the song, plus it was a way out of the comfort zone, which was so necessary for me at this life. Here I am “Voice” and Leonid Agutin is immensely grateful to the “Orchestra Record”, wrote an arrangement, sent him, he made some adjustments, or said: “Yes, this is good.” Or, for example: "Timofey, do not make a mistake, you can, you will succeed." Everything was in that way.

Leonid Nikolaevich listens to your opinion and, if he understands that this song is not yours, that you can’t accept it as your own, of course, he will look for another option. I remember that every time it was a real shake for me and our group - from rejection to love. Honestly, this is a very big buzz. I will miss this state. Already missing. But now, to be honest, we have only ended all these vacations now, all somewhere still went on the winter holidays.

We had several more concerts in early January, went north, played there. A couple of performances took place in Moscow, but they were, so to speak, a private sense. And now he is already accepted for work again. Somewhere in the month of April, tours were painted, every week one or two concerts. My goal is to write a good song that the team will love and which our fans, people will subsequently love.

Simply put, I just want to write a hit. But now everything in another plane has unfolded a little in connection with scientific and technological progress. One song is not enough. I have a job. We build offices, rent out. And plus everything, if time allows and on Sunday I am at home, we play military-strategic games: laser tag, strikbol. Well, and three or four days, again, if there are no concerts, a gym, a pool.

I read that you consider yourself Vyatka. Is that so? Firstly, I have a father from the Kirov region, he was born in the village of Karinka, Kirovo-Chepetsk district. And all relatives from the father from there. Then he lived in Kotelnich, and I in childhood somewhere in the class to, in principle, spent every summer. I had friends there: both the guys from Kotelnich and the guys who came there to their grandfathers-grandmothers.

We spent a lot of time on Vyatka and hooligated on the bridge on this Kotelnichsky Zheleznodorozhny. And the railway guard drove us because we put nails and pennies under the train. I have Vyatka roots strong in this regard, and I am proud of it! Support is felt from there. In general, I have many relatives there: sisters and cousins, and grandmother there, God forbid her health, alive.But I was born in Vladimir, because my father, when he graduated from school, entered the Vladimir Polytechnic Institute, he graduated from him and stayed here.

But still - emotions from visiting their native places of their ancestors formed the basis of my worldview. Only a trip to his grandfather’s native village, from which there was only a telegraph pole, which is worth it to go there in any case, the fact is that her grandmother after the death of her grandfather moved to Kirov to her daughter, my aunt. And the father constantly goes there.

And we still do not leave hope that we will be some kind of proposal from the city of Kirov, where I can come not just as a relative, but to come as an artist to our fans, who are many at Vyatka to show what we are doing.
