Biography Anatoly Druzhenko
Anatoly Ivanovich Druzhenko was gone. He was the soul of those "news" that is commonly called old. In his work book there are only two entries about the place of work. In the autobiography, he wrote: “I was born in the year in Eastern Ukraine Lugansk, and grew up and graduated from the School in Western Rivne. In the year I entered Moscow University and has been a Muscovite since then.
Now I have been retired, but I continue to write, I am a observer of the Literary Newspaper. I love travel, Ukrainian folk songs and sports games especially football.” He loved a lot and knew how to love. A man with excellent memory, he never forgot about those who, at one stage or another, supported him, gave his hand to help, who believed in him. Throughout his life, he carried, a gold medalist, gratitude to his school teacher of literature, whose lessons helped a boy from the Ukrainian province to withstand an unthinkable competition at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University.
Tolya friends, as Anatoly Ivanovich called friends and colleagues until his last days, went through all the stages of life in Izvestia, and hence all the stages of journalistic growth: creative, official, human. The true station wagon, he knew how to write everything in the newspaper: write, edit, organize.
He was a professional to the brain of bones. In different years, many times the editorial office threw him into the hottest sections, to organize all kinds of campaigns, knowing that his friend would "pull out something." And he pulled, invented. He always, when he was awake, worked as a journalist. When he was healthy, and, it seems, when he fell ill - not on football, but for real.
Even his illnesses of recent years of life looked like a kind of business trip, as experiments. Something like a study of the effects of dangerous viruses instilled in brave researchers. He was sick - as if in order to survive the real sensations of a person, struck by a heavy ailment. In order to be extremely accurately, for the health of readers, to reproduce them in essays for the newspaper, he wrote about his stay in the hospital.
Anatoly Druzhenko always wrote about what excited him, and he was always worried about what he wrote about. There is probably some kind of tragic pattern that he was gone on those days when the 25th anniversary of the Polish “Solidarity” is celebrated, about which he wrote a lot and honestly in those years, working in Warsaw by his own correspondent. So to the anniversary, he finished the article that, as he told his friends, was very difficult.
Just the New World magazine has pronounced it. The article is called "Przepraham Warsaw History". The journalism that he professed, the one that is not created by mechanical professionalism, was never given to anyone simply. And here, as in poetry, it happens: the lines flowed with throats by the throat of those people who are never bored and with whom it is not boring.
He was an excellent storyteller, a master of jokes and an anecdot, but at the same time no one knew better even in an editorial coffee shop, among the noise and ringing of dishes, with such attention to listen to his colleagues when they talked not about the last business trip, but shared, to the mood, some complex personal experiences. It was he who took the work of preparing and publishing a book of one of our deceased colleagues - he brought the matter to the end, although it was a very difficult matter: to read hundreds of manuscript pages, edit, do all the technical work, agreed with the publishers, everyone agreed to do this, and he did it.
He knew how to truly love - relatives and friends, friends, colleagues. He loved his work, a newspaper, journalism, whose ups and falls took to heart. Friends lived and worked with pleasure, bringing his life and work to everyone who read his articles and essays, who talked with him. There was so much energy, the games of the mind, warmth, sincerity, so much life in it that it seemed that it would never end.
He died on August 30 in a dream in a year of life. The funeral service will take place in
