Chebotareva Zinaida biography
When the descendants talk about them! The years separating us from the harsh days of the Great Patriotic War, not only did not belittle the greatness of the folk feat, but attached special significance to it. The victory over the enemy was paid for the cost of millions of human lives and will remain forever in the memory of generations. We will never forget the unprecedented courage of warriors who took a decisive step on the way to a great victory, defended the capital into the cold, unbearable December days and defeated the “invincible” Nazi hordes.
The Great Patriotic War became the most terrible catastrophe, which humanity suffered in the 20th century. In our country, she touched every family, entered every house and carried away millions of human lives with her, not sparing either young or old on her way. Many books have been written about this terrible time, documentary and feature films have been shot.
In the class, we were engaged in the project work "The Great Batches of the Great Patriotic War." We learned a lot about the courage, courage and ingenuity of the Russian people. During the period of hostilities, none of the inhabitants of Russia remained indifferent. People fought as they could, and helped them.
The children were courageous and brave, grandfathers and grandmothers with the last forces helped soldiers fight the enemy. I was struck by the film “The Battle of the Kursk Bulge”, which we watched in the museum of the city of Marx during the excursion. The film talked about the largest tank battle in history. About two million people, six thousand tanks, four thousand aircraft participated in it.
When at home I told my grandmother about my impressions after watching what I saw, tears appeared in her eyes. She brought me an old album with black and white photos and showed a photo of a young man in military uniform. I was interested in this photo. The man in the picture seemed familiar to me, it feels like I recognized him. What was my surprise when I found out that it was my great -grandfather Afanasyev Vasily Andreevich, who fought in battles near Moscow and on the Kursk Bulge.
My grandmother, Chebotareva Zinaida Vasilievna Afanasyeva worked for many years to the school principal, teacher of Russian language and literature. She told both my parents and her students about her father on his birthday, and always tears sparkled in her eyes and her voice trembled because she was very worried at that moment. I was small and somehow did not really listen to the conversations of adults.
It seemed to me that this is important for my mother, for grandparents, and I have other worries and interests. And suddenly I felt that it was also mine, that it concerns me. My grandmother began to tell me about her father, her memories were so warm and kind that my heart in her chest began to knock greatly from excitement. I was so proud at that moment with my great -grandfather!
Before my eyes there were shots from the film. My great -grandfather was there, on the battlefield, he saw everything with his own eyes, he rode on the tank, worried about his comrades - and everywhere explosions, everywhere roar, rumble of planes. I was so scared! And he was probably scared too. But they understood that they were protecting the most expensive, their relatives and friends.
All of them, a soldier of the Great Patriotic War, united and randomly united love for the homeland, and this love gave them huge forces! My great -grandfather was drafted into the army when the war began. He fought a tanker. He had to survive many battles. The most difficult were the battle of Moscow and the battle on the Kursk arc, where fate kept it.
And only at the end of the year, the Nazis blew up his tank. Vasily Andreevich received multiple injuries, lost his right hand. Almost he became disabled, and in the year he was commissed out of the armed forces. Now I know that this is about them, about my great -grandfather and about his friends - fellow soldiers, the words "The armor is strong and our tanks are fast." He returned to a peaceful life, but, despite his injuries, he worked for many years as a foreman in the Belgorod region.
In the year he arrived in the Saratov region, lived in Pervomaisky district, where he also worked as a team leader before retirement. However, the old wounds did not give him rest. He talked about the war with his children, mourned his friends, loved to sing military songs, remembered everything that he had to endure. He passed away at the age of 55, heavy wounds undermined health.
He had many victories and labor awards. My family was always proud of them, because he survived so much in life. After a conversation with my grandmother, after watching the film about this great battle, so many new sensations appeared, so many feelings of admiration and pride in my great -grandfather that I decided to tell my friends and classmates about it. When I grow up, I will definitely tell my children and grandchildren about my great -grandfather, the hero of the greatest battles, the defender of our homeland.
And if I will be a teacher, like my grandmother and mother, I will tell my students about the events of that terrible time. The echoes of that war remained in every city and village, in every family. Now I understand why Victory Day is "a holiday with tears in my eyes."And I involuntarily want to say something important, good. A person must remember his roots, keep his traditions, then the history of the country will not seem distant.
Remembering those difficult years, you are surprised how much grief and difficult trials fell to the share of our relatives. Every year on May 9, a solemn rally takes place in our village Pavlovka, Marx region and a festive salute is rattling! Every year we see that the ranks of eyewitnesses of the Great Patriotic War are thinning. With pride for our great -grandfather and all participants in the Great Patriotic War, we took part in the procession of the Immortal Regiment in the native village and in the city of Marx, and my sister and brother went with a portrait of our great -grandfather in the city of Saratov!
We went to the Immortal Regiment with the whole country! And there were tears before our eyes ... This is one of the most amazing traditions that we should read. On this day, we will always remember in the family of our great -grandfather and all soldiers who gave their lives in the name of victory. After all, they gave us the most valuable - life and peaceful sky above our heads! Afanasyev Vasily Andreevich - My grandfather.
My hero!
