Biography Vitaly Boyko

The editors of Mr. Boyko published the annual “Decisions of the Supreme Court of Ukraine”, scientific and practical comments on the criminal and criminal procedure codes, collections of legislative acts, decisions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, and other legal publications.

Such constancy, in our opinion, testifies to the laws of the fruitful activity of the constitutional justice body he headed.

I must say that Mr. Smirokha took an active part in the preparation of the draft concept of judicial reform in Ukraine, draft laws on the status of judges, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the draft Criminal Code, etc. In addition, this year the Constitutional Court of Ukraine celebrated its five-year anniversary, moving to a new administrative building in the center of Kyiv.

Minister of Justice of Ukraine Suzanne Stanik - in third place. In this case, only one thing can be said-the situation obliges Ms. Stanik always be in the spotlight. Yuri Shemshuchenko is a fourth position. Just say that this person is initiative and active, it means to say nothing. Yuri Shemshuchenko is one of the leading scientists in the field of constitutional and administrative law, the founder of the Kyiv ecological and legal school, director of the Institute of State and Law named after Koretsky, author of more than 40 monographic works.

It is quite natural to the appearance of our “dozens” of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, the rector of the Odessa National Law Academy Sergei Kivalov, who was elected in the past year as chairman of the Supreme Council of Justice of Ukraine. The name of this person has been associated for many years with the activities of public organizations of lawyers led by him, who play a far from the last role in the legal life of our society.

In addition, lawyers around the world provided Valery Alexandrovich with great trust, and this year he became part of the governing body of the World Association of Lawyers, becoming the first vice president of Vai. Nikolai Gusak represents in our “strong link” the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine. Nikolai Borisovich undoubtedly earned a place in our review, since during the year we repeatedly talked about interesting litigations, which Nikolai Gusaku had to consider.

The eighth line of our mini-rating is occupied by the President of the Law Firm "Lawyer", First Deputy Chairman of the Union of Lawyers of Ukraine, Vice-President of the World Congress of Ukrainian lawyers Nikolai Onishchuk, whose professional activities combine a lot of various interests, both in the field of jurisprudence and in the field of politics. The director of the Center for Comparative Law under the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the UN expert on public public law, Stanislav Shevchuk, also occupied a worthy niche in our list.

And, finally, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, an active participant in the legislative process, the author of many bills regarding judicial legal reform Viktor Shishkin, closes the “ten” of the year. Of course, the list of active and active lawyers is not limited to the indicated “ten”. Over this year, more than a thousand representatives of the legal profession were mentioned on the pages of our newspaper, which significantly exceeds the indicator of activity in the year.
