Stieglitz Direction: Motomechanics The first motorcycle appeared in my adolescence. I remember myself modernized it, increased power, rolled and then broke it. He lay in the hospital, went out and gathered a new one - the desire to ride that incident did not repel, rather the opposite. Then I learned the rules, handed over to the rights. In parallel, I studied in the artistic direction: at first I graduated from the Roerich Art School in the direction of graphic design, then I studied at the “Flus” at the department “Artistic Processing of Metal”.

He began with the fact that, at the request of friends, he modernized motorcycles, added forged backs, steps and other details. Then I moved to another equipment, now I work with the Harleys. What I do is not tuning in the usual sense, namely a master's modernization of bikes with forged details for individual orders. For 13 years, a lot of material has been developed: I collected three motorcycles completely from scratch, the factory there were only wheels and an engine.

I order details for American models on e-Bay when I build something at the request of the customer. And when I create something new, then I pick the details on my own. The workshop formed by itself, orders began to receive. I can’t say that this brings me a tremendous income, this is a hobby. I have no purpose to earn, motorcycles for me - as a bright moment in life, I just like to deal with them.

Now it was also supplemented by an enthusiasm for old cars. From scratch I gathered three motorcycles, and they are all different. For example, one of my personally assembled black forged motorcycle is located in the Museum of Retro Technology "Horse Power". I collected it about three years ago, and then I realized that it was a pity to use such a model for everyday driving.

The owner of the museum, my acquaintance, saw him and offered to pick it up as an exhibit. At that time, I took up a new project and gladly handed over the motorcycle. My clients immediately grow into friends. As a rule, ideological people turn to me who have come up with something for a long time, and then ask to realize their plan. True, sometimes you have to convince.

I learned that I learned the technologies of metal processing during my studies, and I mastered the subtleties of working with motorcycles myself. Not always, for example, having arrived at the service center, you can find all the answers. There are also people who do not have such a lot of experience. Most issues have to be resolved by yourself, sitting with technical literature. For example, I studied a lot of injectors on the Harley, changed them and put American analogues.

But so far I still have questions that cannot find the answer to. In the future, if there are orders that will require me to expand the staff of a team or workshop, then it would be interesting for me to build something new or remake a basic model. I do not set myself global goals - everything develops by itself. Motorcycles are not a one -time technique, but a “real” in the full sense of the word.
