Elena Lana Vladimirovna Mirror was born on June 24 in the city of Kyiv. Mirror education has two higher education: lawyer and international economist. In the year, she graduated from the law faculty of Kyiv National University, and ten years later - the Institute of International Relations of KNU. In the Geneva Center for Security Policy, the “New Aspects of Security Policy” was officially not married, but is a relationship.

It has two sons from Vladimir Bely: Paul and Robert. Elena began his career as a student in the student. She worked as a laboratory assistant at her native university, secretary of the head in the private company InSofttech. For six years, a legal adviser served here. At the end of the year, she switches to the public service. In December, Elena became deputy department of international law in the Ministry of Justice.

Later she headed the department. In January, the mirror was appointed head of the Department for Adaptation of Legislation. Since that year, she represented Ukraine at conferences and negotiations on European integration issues, simplifying the registration of visas, on the conclusion of an agreement on the association with the European Union. In April, the mirror was appointed to the post of director of the Department of Interaction with the authorities of the Ministry of Justice.

In this position, she spent a little more than two years, until May. In the year, Elena entered the College of the State Penitentiary Service, and a year later - the College of the State Registration Service of Ukraine.

In the summer of the year, Elena returned to the public sector. In August, the head of government Arseniy Yatsenyuk appointed her deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin. In this post, she dealt with the Euroapiation of Ukraine, participated in tripartite negotiations on the “winter packages” of Russian gas supplies to Ukraine in years. In March, she was a Ukrainian representative at a public hearing on a lawsuit against the Russian Federation in an international court in the Hague.

Elena accused of official Moscow of aiding terrorists in eastern Ukraine, violation of human rights in the occupied territories in the Crimea and in the Donbass. But the next day, this decree was canceled. According to her, she left the foreign policy because she could not resist Russia under President Zelensky. Here Elena was responsible for the international direction. She took part in international and arbitration courts between the Ukrainian regulator and Gazprom, as well as on the issues of assets captured by the Russian Federation on the Crimean Peninsula.

The mirror provided resistance to the construction of Nord Stream-2. Since June 1, she was appointed adviser to the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko.
