All this is combined in one person-Lyudmila Vasilievna Shaposhnikova, who was trusted To translate into reality the dream of senior Roerichs - Nikolai Konstantinovich and Elena Ivanovna - about the museum, the house of the muses in their homeland.
The life of Lyudmila Vasilievna has all the qualities of fire - it is rapid and widely obscured, creative and elevated. Her life is an amazing example of the strength and height of the human spirit. That vast and creative force that makes the impossible possible. It belongs to the brilliant and small galaxy of figures who, in our difficult time, have the courage to build beauty and culture.
Lyudmila Shaposhnikova was born on July 26 in Novocherkassk in the house of the famous Russian traveler G. Potanin, where her grandmother Maria Nikolaevna, nee Trubetskaya, lived. Lyudmila from the family of the princes of the Trubetskiy, freemen, philosophers, defenders of the Fatherland, spent her childhood in Taganrog, among the endless steppes, a wormwood smell and a hot -day haze of a hot day on an unknown distance, on the shores of the Sea of Azov.
In the year, leaving behind five years of study at the eastern branch of the Faculty of History of Moscow State University. Lomonosov, she entered graduate school. Then she successfully defended the dissertation for the degree of candidate of historical sciences and was left to work in Alma Mater at the Department of History of India. The scientific interests of L. Shaposhnikova were finally formed after the first trip to India, the internships at the University of Heiderabad in the years.
Then Lyudmila Vasilievna first came into contact with a centuries-old culture, with an ancient tradition, and the problems of the labor movement somehow very quickly began to fade into the background ... Since then, for a long time, the main topic of her work has become the culture and ethnogenesis of the peoples of India-not only scientific works, but also brilliant documentary novels about exciting travels and tribes, lost on the roads of historical time.
She was not interested in the splendor and social contrasts of large cities, but the most distant corners, lost in the jungle and mountains, where the mysterious and small tribes lived, which retained the primitive-communal system, ancient customs, myths and legends. During one of the trips to the Tod tribe in the Nilgiri mountains, she was in the area where the smallpox raged.
She helped a local nurse to send people hanging between life and death, to the hospital - dragged them from huts to the car ... The disease did not touch her, walked past, like all those who, during the times of epidemics and Mora, guided the great compassion, and not fear for her life. The result of these trips was amazing books. In the year, the government of India praised the scientific and literary work of our compatriot, awarding it for the books “In South India” and “The Jungle Road” International Prize named after Javaharlala Nehru.
In the year, the meeting with Svyatoslav Nikolayevich Roerich abruptly changed the fate of L. from that moment on the multifaceted heritage of the Roerich family became the central theme of its philosophical, scientific and journalistic creativity, and the philosophical system of living ethics created by E. Roerich in collaboration with the sages of the East is the conceptual basis of all its works.
Having met with a famous artist and sage, Lyudmila Vasilievna “entered the amazing, magical world where the spirit of the two great ones continued to reign, who gave the life of the one who called me. She entered so that he would never leave this world.
”1. In Soviet times, L. Shaposhnikov made a lot of efforts to return the philosophical and artistic heritage of the Roerichs to the homeland. In gg. Grigorieva Director R. Sergienko shot the full -length documentary film “Nikolai Roerich”, in which it was possible to recreate the magnificent image of the Russian artist and thinker, traveler and public figure of a global scale. Lyudmila Vasilievna alone passed the route of the Great Central Asian expedition N.
Due to the tension of international relations, only the Chinese section of the route was not available to her. The Central Asian expedition of N. Roerich brought to world culture not only a series of beautiful landscapes written by the great Russian artist on the route of his journey, but also amazingly vivid literary images of the spaces of the East. Half a century later, L. Shaposhnikova created a no less unique gallery of literary and photography, in which beauty is noticeable.
This is the luxury of the Altai valleys, axial snow proteins, and the ringing openness of the Mongol steppes, and the almost unearthly solemnity of the Himalayas. This beauty fascinates, involves in the stream of eternal movement in the face of the planet - the roads of the resettlement of peoples and great wanderers. The photo album “from Altai to the Himalayas” and the “Great Journey” trilogy helps to understand the grandeur of the unprecedented expedition of N.
Roerich, which went through the paths of Asia in the e years of the twentieth century.Shaposhnikov in the library at the end of X in the fate of L. Shaposhnikova, a scientist and traveler, a new era began - the era of the creation of a public museum. Svyatoslav Nikolaevich during his multiple meetings with Lyudmila Vasilyevna repeatedly returned to the idea of creating a N.
Roerich museum in his homeland. Once he suggested L. Shaposhnikova to write the concept of the N. museum, the task was unexpected, and nevertheless, soon several pages, scribbled by a sweeping handwriting, lay on his table. Svyatoslav Nikolaevich carefully read and approved without a single amendment. In the year, S. Roerich met with M. Gorbachev, and the result of this meeting was the decision to create the N.
Roerich museum in Moscow. But the disposition of the Secretary General was made by officials under the cloth for a long time. When, before the visit of Gorbachev to India, they suddenly “remembered” this decision, a very unpleasant subcutional struggle of state husbands began around him. The future of the center-museum was at risk. In the year, Svyatoslav Nikolaevich wrote his famous letter “You cannot hesitate!
Roerich and the Soviet Foundation of Roerichs. This decision was prepared thanks to the efforts and organizational talent of L. she was able to defend a new nascent public organization from the encroachments of interested government agencies, and defended the idea of the center-museum, which they tried to destroy, making SFR only a cultural center. She created the charter and all the title documents of the SFR, the constituent conference was convened, which preceded the decree of the Council of Ministers.
Shaposhnikov in India to work with the legacy of the Roerichs. In May, she delivered four tons of precious cargo to Moscow with a special defense. Under the leadership of L., the center-museum, created in accordance with the wishes of S. Roerich, expressed in the open letter “You can't delay”, was located in the updated and equipped museum technology of the building. It would seem impossible to have happened-the first independent public museum arose in Russia that had no analogues abroad and embodied N.
Roerich’s dream in a multifaceted cultural and scientific educational center, center-museum. The concept of culture N. Triune complex - the estate, the museum, the legacy of the Roerichs - became an expression of the thought of the unity of the past, present and future in the eternal circle of culture. The museum continues to develop, its concept is constantly being improved, milestones of future achievements for many decades ahead are laid by its permanent leader.
The center-museum is also developing as a scientific complex. Like many outstanding scientists, L. In the texts of living ethics, a lot of attention is paid to the importance of science to form a new energy picture of the world, which would help humanity go to a new evolutionary round.
The legacy of the Roerichs, not only transferred to the center-museum, but also previously published, of course, requires the deepest scientific development. The new works of Lyudmila Vasilievna, already written in the era of the construction of the museum, went in line with the very “spiritual” science, which involved the complex spiritual world of a person, the cosmic laws of his development in the circle of their close attention.
Her scientific and organizational work was largely inherited by the principles of the Institute of Himalayan Studies Urusvati, created by Roerichs in Kulu. Like the Urusvati Institute, the ICR began its entry into the world of science with international scientific cooperation, with the unification of advanced scientists working in various directions and areas.
Now the scientific methodology developed by Roerichs is not only revived, but also develops L. Shaposhnikova, under her leadership a new interdisciplinary project began to work - a united scientific center for cosmic thinking problems. Under the leadership and with the direct participation of L. Shaposhnikova, the theme of scientific seminars and lecture cycles is being developed, a lot of work is underway to restore paintings, scientific and museum processing of documents and handwritten materials.

In this book, L. Shaposhnikova gives modern reading and systematizing this philosophy, the author gives the reader the possibility of a whole perception of the world in the key of the cosmic worldview.
The book makes it possible to see the process of cultural generation with their own eyes, and from a completely different point of view - in it the subjects of evolution are cosmic hierarchs, which were with humanity from the beginning of time, as if leading it by the hand. The aspects of the Universe itself are manifested through the culture: infinity, indestructibility, hierarchy, spasmodic development, explosions, revolutions ...
