Alexander Gusak Biography
In the year he graduated from Moscow State University. Lomonosov, Faculty of Law. Defender of the ideals of the Soviet system, party, homeland. Litvinenko himself is now a citizen of Great Britain, where he was allegedly from the reprisal. Many compare the appearance of this book with an exploding bomb. In fact, the defector accused his colleagues yesterday that they were waging a war against their own country, that it was the FSB that organized explosions of houses in Moscow and unleashed the second Chechen war.
The book is replete with the names of officers, official phones, nicknames of "agents", but you are one of the few who knew not only Litvinenko himself, but also the level of his awareness. How do you evaluate this work? In the book, he now and then tries to impersonate a super -comprehensive specialist, aware of all aspects of life and the activities of the FSB.
In fact, Litvinko was an ordinary ordinary operational worker. His service "ceiling" is the head of a small unit in management. And all. He did not rise above. As “operas”, he did not even have admission to secret documents. In the best case, he could try to collect information from private conversations of his colleagues, but this is not a level at all.
In Chechnya, he participated in only one operation, in Pervomaisky, where he showed cowardice and was sent to the operational headquarters. In the book, he sprinkles with facts and data as if in front of him were whole folders of operational developments and dossiers. But none of this simply was there. The entire volume of the information given by Litvinenko is just a compiled "Grossbukh", for the compilation of which several official telephone reference books, a dozen gossip and the binder of the "criminal chronicle" over the past few years are sufficient.
By the way, in the text itself, perhaps the main links to which the author every now and then sends the reader, are newspaper and journal publications and issues of television programs. Sorry, but for an officer of the special services conducting his own investigation, this is just ridiculous. Moreover, reading this special issue, I constantly caught myself on the feeling that Litvineco himself in some places acted as a consultant in some places.
Not his style, not his language, not his manner of presentation. And not even his image and level of thinking. Litvinenko opera, and I know very well his way of thinking, his logic. The book was written by people who are absolutely far from operational thinking, but “twisted” on ideology and journalism. I am almost sure that Litvinenko is not the author of this book.
And he put his signature under it to please his new owners. You have to live in England for something. Well, maybe more to take revenge on the service. He has the vindictiveness of his five ... Therefore, it is simply stupid to treat this book as a really serious study. Therefore, I had to work together and rub. As a professional, he was quite at the level. He loved operational work, knew how to work.
But as a person - rubbish. Pride was literally bursting with him. He simply didn’t put his comrades in. People for him were only pawns in his own game. And after a series of conflicts with colleagues, when it did not reach the fights a little, I was even forced to achieve his transfer to another unit. In his own interests, he could step over anyone and through anything. He lived and lives only for himself.
Therefore, the issue of betrayal for him never stood. We must betray - betray. He once betrayed his service, betrayed his friends, betrayed me, and now he betrayed the country, putting his name under a cheap fake ... Written V.
