Wicked Lester was even able to record an official album, which, alas, was doomed to dust on the distant shelves of Epic Records. Over and over again, feeling the hopelessness of the whole situation, Stanley and Simmons, nevertheless, decided to leave Wicked Lester. And already at the beginning of 72 years, the guys gradually began to engage in the creation of a new music group.

Time passed, but already at the end of 72, the musicians accidentally stumbled upon a Rolling Stone for an ad on the search for the work of Peter Chriss. Peter Criss was a noble and already very famous drummer of the fashionable club scene of the musical New York. Once this guy even played in the Chelsea group. In general, Peter was accepted into the fresh composition of the former Wicked Lager group without unnecessary questions.

So there are already three of them. When Chriss became a participant in the team, the musicians began to try to play in a stronger style than before. In addition, the guys were insanely inspired by the incredibly popular New York Dolls proto-punk collection at that time. Theatricality, “staged”, spectacular images, makeup, stylistics and manner of behavior on the stage - all this was very attracted and inspired by the musicians, so they realized that it was time to make their own show on stage - the time for experiments with the image came.

The group was stunned by the energy and eccentricity of Freily. He came to audition in two different boots: one is red, the other is orange. He behaved relaxed and a little defiant, which the group liked very much. He quickly placed all the participants in the team. And after a couple of weeks they played four. Once, when the musicians went by train to New York, Criss once mentioned that at one time he was listed as a participant in a team called Lips.

And Stanley asked him: “What about calling our KISS group? Ace Frailie threw a pencil on a sheet of a notebook logo so that the letters “s” in the word “kiss” were like a zipper. He recommended changing the style, its basis - to make the gloomy, hard and rather rude sounding of the team more pure and juicy, in contrast to the sound that can be heard on the Hotter than Hell.

Soon 75 years appeared the 3rd album of Kiss called Dressed to Kill. He brought success, but still the album did not spread out a large circulation. Yes, indeed, the circulations of the first musical publications Kiss could never be called incredible. Why did it happen, given that the group to its third album became very popular, acquired an army of fans and became truly demanded?
